Sometimes you realize a feature would make moderating much easier, but it’s not built into the platform. Whether it’s partial message muting, context history, or smarter flagging, what tools do you think should be standard but aren’t?

I wish forum software included automated conflict detection to flag tense discussions, shadow muting to limit visibility without banning, rotating spotlight for new or quiet members, and moderator analytics to track actions and trends. These features could make moderation more efficient, proactive, and prevent burnout while maintaining community health.
