Hybrid Forum Models: Combining Discussions with Resources

Adding tutorials, guides, or downloadable assets can increase engagement. How do you integrate these without overwhelming users? Have hybrid forums, discussion plus resource hubs, proven more effective than pure discussion models in your experience?

For sustainability, I think forums need to move up from just a discussion board to resource site. I haven't done it myself but I have been on a lot of communities where they published courses, guides and tips, in ebook formats that could be downloaded, or articles that could be read on site and digital courses that could be attended online. I think users like these type of useful content.
